Copper River country has an extensive system of outstanding trails | |
| Trails are found throughout Alaska's Copper River Basin. Some of these are long-established trails of historical significance; others are newly-made for purposes of recreation or access. Rugged trails lead high into the mountains, while tamer trails are often found parallel to highways. Some trails are suitable for motorized access, while others are reserved for bicycle, foot, ski, snowshoe, or sled dog traffic. These trails lead to adventure, beauty, wildlife, and of course simple exercise and fresh air. Right out the door of Wellwood Bed and Breakfast are all of these things, on a trail system that is good for short walks or long hikes. | ||
